Start with size
Consider how comfortably your section wraps around the barrel and how much control you need near shorter layers or the ends. Smaller and larger barrels create different shaping options, but technique, tension and section size matter too.

Understand the features
HeatSense pairs contoured nylon bristles with a ceramic barrel and diamond-shaped vents. A rotating sectioning pin helps you organise the hair as you work.
The barrel changes colour with heat. Treat this as a visible feature, not a guarantee that the barrel is safe to touch or that the tool cannot become too hot. Follow the product’s care and handling instructions.
Build a controlled routine
Work in sections you can manage comfortably, and choose your dryer’s airflow and heat deliberately. A brush is one part of the routine; it does not replace sensible heat settings or careful handling.
